30 July 2008 I am a gay socialist in Sydney, Australia. I've just discovered your website and wanted to let you know how much I seriously appreciate it. I know that it's early days yet but many thanks for the information, pictures and videos that you have put on gaycuba.ca. It might not look like much right now but the details you have there are already useful in fighting the barrage of lies, half-truths and misinformation that circulate within the lesbian and gay communities as much as within the straight world.
My "husband" (in quotes as the Australian government refuses to accord same-sex couples the rights we are owed and continue to fight for) and I will be flying to Havana in late October. If you are interested in a report of our brief trip (just a week in Havana), let me know.
In the meantime I'll do whatever I can to get your website known more widely in Australia.

26 July 2008 Your site is amazing and for the cause, it is a big help. It is wonderful to know people who believe in what I do. With my music and videos I just try to let people know that they can do what I have done in my life without any fear.
My purpose is acceptance as the human beings we are – with love and respect we can live all in the same world. My road is not easy. I have to fight for my thoughts, thoughts of millions humans worldwide. I believe the only different between them and I is that I have the opportunity to express through my art what I feel.
I will never forget the June 14th celebration at Mí Cayito beach. I never imagined a day like that.
